ABOUT US
Conservation of Nature Society was registered under Govt. of Kerala Societies Registration act 1860 & aims to protect the last of nature which is seen not safe under the hands who has to protect them. Since 2000, the society is having its registered office in calicut has been involved in various activities connected with nature conservation. It has a professional team as its executive committee members, who are also professionals but dedicate the time available for the society's functions. The society is also filing for legal remedies on necessary issues as & when required. The society also represents in various seminars, workshops etc.. Our President is Dr. R.S.Lal Mohan, Vice Presidents -Lion. U.K.Bhaskaran Nair and Adv.Babu.P.Benedict, Secretary AR. Asok Putiyan, Joint Secretary Vinod Kumar Damodar and Treasurer Gopalakrishnan.
PRODUCTS/SERVICES
The society is now studying on tree transplanting if possible in kerala considering the huge felling of shade trees for development by government & private bodies. The society is also registered with the NGO list of PLANNING COMMISION of India. The society represents in various meetings and committee called by the Government of Kerala, Government of India etc. with regard to the Nature Protection activities. The Secretary AR. Asok Putiyan and Joint Secretary Vinod Kumar Damodar jointly are doing the day to day business of the society.
